The Meramec River is also great for boating and several public boat launches are nearby. The river and creeks also provide for awesome swimming, but it you prefer a pool, a local outfitter and the community park have one. Fourche Valley Golf Course and Cuba Lakes Golf Course are open to the public. Both cabins come with a variety of board games. Horseshoes are provided at The Pines and the All American includes a croquet game. Just 20 miles near is a go-cart raceway and a paintball field is 5 miles down the road. We have 97 acres for hunting and numerous Missouri Conservation Areas are available as well. Do some fishing in the river and creeks or visit Maramec Spring Park to trout fish. There are some haunted places for ghost hunters and if you like geocaching there are many hidden geocaches nearby. Go spelunking along the creeks or search for a cave in the national forest, find it and win a prize! Both cabins and the campground lend plenty of room to set up and play the volleyball or badminton game you bring. Wildlife areas managed specifically for bird habitat are close to ArdPark for bird watching, and birders will adore viewing our native hummingbirds from the All American kitchen bay window or the outdoor feeders. St. Joe State Park and Sutton Bluff Recreation Area were prepared especially for ATV and dirt bike riders. ATVs can also be ridden on several national forest numbered roads that are close by. Unlike most cabin and campground facilities, we do allow guests to bring their ATVs and dirt bikes onsite for riding elsewhere. Everyone will find pleasing sports and activities at or near ArdPark Cabins and Campground.
