The house was built as a private residence by the Northwood family, who were brewers at the time that Henry Ford introduced his automobile to Detroit. The house became a church some time in the 1960’s and in the late 60’s or early 70’s it reverted back to a private residence. There are still horse-watering troughs in our carriage house.
We have three guest rooms and three suites, all with private baths. Two of the suites have fireplaces and one has a Jacuzzi tub. You will find each room equipped with the modern conveniences of everyday living (computer hook-ups) as well as the luxuries that make every day a little special. If you ask nicely, perhaps we can even serve your breakfast in bed.
